B & C Grade Competition

Graded competition is an essential function of the CPA and takes place via a 3-tier format. This series of competitions sets out a platform on which pipers can compete against competitors of similar ability and track records at A, B and C grade levels.

  • Highlands and Islands Music and Dance Festival, Oban – A/P, B & C grade - Piobaireachd and Light Music.
  • Blair Atholl – A/P, B & C grade for Piobaireachd, open Light Music competition.

We are also extremely grateful to Glenfiddich who continue to sponsor the B and C grade events at the Duncan Johnstone, Blair Atholl, Rosneath, Inveraray and Blairgowrie.
