Lament for the Castle of Dunyveg- Campbell Canntaireachd set

Lament for the Castle of Dunyveg is set for the 2026 Silver Medal competitions. The Campbell Canntaireachd setting mentioned in the PS 1 note has an additional ground variation, but ends there. In response to an enquiry, the Music Committee has devised variations based on the Campbell groundwork. These differ from PS 1 (Angus MacKay) only in the middle bars of line 2.

The Music Committee recommends that players choosing to play the Campbell Canntaireachd groundwork should play the variations based on this rather than those of Angus MacKay as in PS book 1
